How to use it
Grab, drop, rotate, type the size
The Furniture tab is the third stage: after the walls are up, before the services. Objects snap to the room and carry a size label; the check panel shows you any layout that blocks a door, overlaps or narrows a passage.

Drag and drop, or click
Grab an object from the library and drop it on the plan; mouse, pen and touch all work the same way. If you just click, the object lands in the middle of the screen and you move it into place.

Rotate
Each press of R rotates the selected object 15° clockwise, and Shift+R rotates it the other way; the buttons in the right panel turn it 90° in one click. That way you can set a sofa diagonally in a corner or angle a table toward the window.

Edit its size
Select the object and type its width and depth in cm in the right panel. For your own 240 cm sofa, take the three-seater and make it 240.

Duplicate, delete, undo
Ctrl+D duplicates, Delete removes, Ctrl+Z brings it back. No hunting for six chairs one by one.

It snaps and tells you its size
Objects snap to the 10 cm grid and to wall edges; nudge them step by step with the arrow keys. The selected object's size is shown with a dimension line.
Why real size
Instead of "it'll probably fit"
In sketching apps, furniture is just a symbol sized to fit the page. In Nodaform, every object is a rectangle measured in centimeters and drawn at the same scale as the room.
- Is there 60 cm left between the bed and the wardrobe, do the doors open? You see it while you draw.
- The chair pull-out clearance around the dining table (min. 75 cm) reads right off the dimension line.
- In the services stage, sockets and drains are placed according to this layout, so nothing gets done twice.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can I change furniture sizes?
Yes. When you select an object, its width and depth appear in cm in the right panel; just type in the size of your own furniture.
Can I add my own furniture?
Yes, on Plus and higher plans. With the Custom object button in the furniture panel you set a name, size, height, color and shape and add it to your own library; it appears at that size in the 3D view too. On the Free plan you can edit the size of the closest ready-made object.
Can objects be rotated?
Yes. R rotates 15°, Shift+R rotates 15° the other way; there are also 90° buttons in the right panel.
Where are the stairs?
Stairs aren't furniture but a building element; you set them up with the floors in the 02 Shell tab. Straight stairs are in every plan, L- and U-shaped stairs unlock on Plus, and spiral stairs on Pro. The car / garage object is on Pro too.
What does the layout check look at?
Furniture in a door's swing, objects that overlap or stick into a wall, tight passages beside the bed (at least 50, comfortably 60 cm), clearance for cabinet doors and around tables, and tall furniture blocking a window. It's on in every plan; problems are marked on the plan, and clicking one in the list selects the object.
